| Just received the email copied below. Looks like a 2nd attempt at holding the show this year. Unfortunately I will not be able to attend on this new date, but if people want to attend I will happily get a club booking form sent in (I have the pdf file here). Obviously the banner and gazebo can be made available as well.

We have some exciting news for a new show planned on the 16th September 2012 to replace the Cars on the Green Show which was regretablly cancelled in July...
Due to poor weather experienced in July, we are bringing back CARS ON THE GREEN but this show with be a nice wind down to the season. This show will be different to the planned Cars on the Green Show incorporating the NEW Bury Motor Show, but will have some links to the main show...
The show will aimed at clubs but of course open to individual entries, the show will be FREE TO EXHIBIT but if your visiting the show, as public visitors, entry is £5 per car.
On the Saturday afternoon evening, there will be Bury Retro Ford's annual show and shine competition, Buff the Ruff, where various trophies will be up for grabs, including:
Best 60s & earlier
Best 70s
Best 80s
Best 90s
Best Rat
and, Best non club car
A group BBQ will be going through the night on Saturday so feel free to bring along your own food!
To conclude Saturday evening there will be a band playing in the bar area and of course a very well stocked licensed bar!! Great news that camping is available!!!!
Then on the Sunday, will be the main event!! From 10am, it's time to look round the show, socialise with fellow car owners, grab some food and drink and more trophies up will be up for grabs!! Including:
Best car club stand
Best Ford
Best non Ford
Best Historic (pre ’72)
Best Retro/Classic (post ’72)
Best Rat
Best Vehicle (non car)
Best Car in Show (out of the winners from previous classes)

All vehicles must be presented in a clean & roadworthy* condition. All entries must be insured against Third Party risks, fully licensed
and tested in accordance with the regulations applicable to your vehicle type*.
All drivers must be fully qualified in Law to handle their
Vehicle Class. No Exhibit shall be left running. No loud music. No glass bottles. NO ALCOHOL WILL BE ALLOWED ON SITE, SPOT CHECKS COULD BE MADE. All Exhibitors must adhere to the
marshals instructions. The Show Organisers accept no responsibility whatsoever for loss or damage or injury however caused.
* Some exceptions to these rules may be accepted, please contact the Car Show Secretary

| Only Peter interested then ? Would have thought that with the lack of shows this year people would be jumping at the chance. Obviously not.
