| Just a reminder. Last day for bookings for the Christmas meal today.
This is now a combined event for us and the local Corvette club now organised by Peter. Numbers have now increased to 22.

| How exactly do you mean Andy ?
Do you mean you have a problem with it, or nice as in a joint venture ? I hope it's the last option.

| What I am saying is it would have been nice to be asked if we minded joining with them, rather than the descision being made for us! It's supposed to be a democratic club not a dictatoryship. Wasn't that one of the reasons why the club was formed! | |

| Andy, I've deleted what I was going to post as I've had my share of forum fallouts.
Lol or not 'dictatorship' is out of order.
Also, for record, the joint meal was discussed by the majority of us at the last meeting.

| Ian I was at the meeting and I don't recall any mention of this and as there was only six or seven of us I am sorry but it didn't reach me at the other end of the table! Andy | |

| > Lol or not 'dictatorship' is out of order I think you'll find that was "dictatoryship" (verbatim). There could be a subtle difference. Have to say I didn't even know that was the case, but it doesn't really bother me, so long as I'm not sitting amoungst people who I don't know in the slightest. If we could keep the groups together on the tables that would be preferable to me. Then we can get to know others as the lunch progresses. Andy - take a chill pill man . The more of us the better. | |

| Colin, There should be no issue with sitting with people you don't know. A fair number of the Corvette group have joined us at various meets / shows already so they will be known to you. The others, who I only met last weekend, are very friendly. The strange thing is Andy was always saying we should get more people involved with the club. When this is done he walks away ! | |
