How to attach a picture

Ok, just tried to load a picture onto the forums, but unsuccessfully.
So, how do you post a picture?

Please in simple terms, ie, an idiots guide would be great ! No comments from you Paul

Firstly you need to have your photos stored online somewhere such as http://photobucket.com/

In the post you click on the 'image' icon (7th from RH side below 'post title' ). In the box you then copy and paste the URL to the picture you wish to post.

Example : If you right click over a stored picture you will see similar to this : Address (URL) https://2img.net/h/i55.photobucket.com/albums/g141/Ian_V/1998%20Corvette%20C5/P5020005.jpg

The code starting http is what you copy into the box. Alternately you can copy it straight into the post thus :

https://2img.net/h/i55.photobucket.com/albums/g141/Ian_V/1998%20Corvette%20C5/P5020005.jpg and simply place the following in front and behind the code :

[ img ] https://2img.net/h/i55.photobucket.com/albums/g141/Ian_V/1998%20Corvette%20C5/P5020005.jpg [ /img ] but with no gaps as I have shown (its the only way I can get the coding to show)

You should then get this :

Thanks for that Ian. I have now managed to get the picture posted (see seperate thread) but was by more luck than judgement me thinks
