Cars on the Green / Bury Motor Show : Sunday 15th July

As Kimbolton has fallen by the wayside thanks to our great British Summer, it does give us the opportunity to make a return visit to the Cars on the Green show held by Bury Retro Ford club.

This year it is being combined with a new event , Bury Motor Show and has moved to Nowton Park, bury St Edmunds. More on the event can be found here : http://www.buryretroford.co.uk/cotg.html

I have a booking form for a club stand printed off and ready to go, all I need to know is a rough idea of numbers. Form needs to be in by 7th July but I will be in Le Mans then so ideally need to get it away on Tuesday latest.

Right, finally got my head woken up after our trip back from Le Mans yesterday (long day !)

Details for the show on Sunday :

Might I suggest that we meet at the Tesco car park in Bury St Edmunds at 10am ready for a swift getaway. We are needed in by 11am.

There are no passes by the looks of things, so if you are going to be later just head for the site and meet us there.

I have just had a text message from Darren at PHEA HQ to let me know that this show too has now been cancelled !

Same problem, waterlogged site.

Bugger, bugger, bugger. Will we ever get a show we can attend this year ?

I will confirm this for definate tonight and let all know as soon as I have it sorted.

What a waste of a half decent day. Shame the show was cancelled.
