| Well it won't be long until I get the booking in for the campsite for this years foriegn jolly. So here's a little reminder of the plans for those who may have missed things so far.
As last year we will be staying at Le Bounty (http://www.le-man-camping.co.uk/) just South of Mulsanne. Really can't rate this place highly enough. For your money you get breakfast and evening meal on all days and a free shuttle bus to the circuit at any time of day or night.
At present there are definately 4 of us going with number five to confirm shortly. The current plan is to go down on Wed 8th and back Monday 13th June. We will be using the Dover - Dunkirk ferry I guess unless something cheaper comes along. As a very rough guide the costs to include everything (incl petrol +tolls) is around £450-500 per person.
So if anyone else fancies it please let me know soon.

| Travel insurance sorted. Breakdown cover sorted. Still got to sort out Green card.
Bought another tent (don't trust the £1.75 Tesco version). Still got some Euros from last time.
Just got to save up for the petrol now!

| Just got back from Scole Eng. It's only a small leak & the radiator was repaired last year so am hoping that it'll be done under warranty.
Better that it went now than in 3 weeks time!!

| Don't know if this is common knowledge or not but I heard that the Monday after the race (Monday 13th) will be a bank holiday in France. PH suggest getting any fuel you may need by 4pm on the Sunday or gamble with the stations on the main routes home being open. Dont know if this was the same last year where we didn't have any problems but I thought it worth mentioning just in case! | |

Good point Chris. IIRC we filled up on Sunday morning last year so perhaps best to do that again this year,

| Good find Chris. Thanks for that. As Mike says, a fill up down the road during Sunday as last year and we should be fine.
Oh, forgot 16 days to go !!

Think I'm just missing one key bit at the moment - a car. Cerb is still at Scole. Spoke to them last Friday and the radiator is being repaired but I'm a little concerned that it may not be back in time. Hopefully all will be okay but am a little worried.

| That isn't good Mike. Looks like a major phone campaign against them is in order. Hope you get sorted. I give you a call over the weekend to sort out details. | |
