Vintage Transport Festival - North Norfolk Railway, Sun 1st July 2012

Firstly thanks to Peter for highlighting this event.

The North Norfolk Railway runs from Holt to Sheringham (around 10.5 miles) and holds various themed events during the year. Their Vintage Transport Festival is this year on Sunday 1st July. I have not attended this event so can't comment on it at all, but it looks like it could be a good day out.

As you will see, they are offering a free rail ticket for the driver and a reduced 'privilege' fare of just £3 for passengers when booked with the entry form. You can download the form from the page above.

If you want to attend can I ask that you download a form, fill it in and send off but clearly marking that you are with Future Classics Car Club. Also can you let me know that you intend on coming along.

Y you want to borrow it to go to a wedge fest in a wedge were off to le-mans in july may not do wedge fest i`ll sleep on it

No, thought i`d take one that uses 4 wheels
Better inform the recovery services local to Ettington chase. Firstly a wedge on side of road with 3 wheels on, followed by a certain other wedge a few miles down the road which has run out of petrol

No takers for this then ? Just myself and hillbilly Peter in the pick up then.

My apologies - some (not very good) work came in about six weeks ago and being self employed I had to take it for tomorrow. I just didn't have this in the diary so I forgot to tell anyone. Again my apologies Still around on the 15th though, whatever is decided to do.

Lovely laid back event today with a great range of cars.

Only the two cars for FCCC, with my Vette and Phil's Griff. The four of us had a good day though with a return trip to Sheringham on the steam train, fish and chips and
an ice cream for dinner ! Even the weather behaved.
